This has been pending for long time but finally I am pening down my’unforgettable experience’
I was a big fan for’Fernsnpetals’ . I used to like thier design , presentation etc and used to order a lot on thier website . but it all ended with my last order on my Fiance’s birthday .
I liked one arrangement of orchid and roses on thier website but I wanted to make it bigger so I spoke to thier helpline people for the same . After discussing with them and exchanging few mails I ordered for the same arrangement but with twice flowers from whatever was displayed on thier website . I made the payment for the flowers and also ordered for a cake . Also gave the instruction to deliver the stuff by 11 am which was readily accepted by their representative .
Till that time I was really happy with my selection and waited patiently for cakes and flowers to be delivered.but then I realised that my agony had just started .
On’the day’ I found that the stuff was not delivered till 12 oclock . after various follow ups on phone the arrangement was delivered at 2 pm(can u beat it .it was a birthday gift) .but this was not the end, after the delivery I fortunately asked my fiance about the bouquet and then I realised they didnt deliver the bigger bouquet( which I was charged for) and instead the smaller bouquet which was available on website was delivered . So it was a total waste of my time, my emails and various phone calls . this irritated me to the core and I started to follow up for the extra amount charged to me .after various follow up they admitted that there was a mistake done by thier vendor and they would like to compensate me with a complimentary bouquet which I can send anywhere across india.
To settle the matter for good, I agreed to this offer and gave them instructions to deliver the complimentary bouquet .But to my shock, this was not a solution to my problem and Fernsn petals did another goof up by not delivering the so called’complimetary bouquet’. This was the last straw . I decided that day .come what may I will make these guys pay for thier endless goof ups .
I started with writing to them asking for the refund but as generally happens there was no response from thier side even after my rigorous follow up . Then finally one day I wrote to thier VP clearly informing him that if I do not receive any response from them I will go to the consumer court with my complaint.
Finally I received a response from him assuring me that my money would be refunded to me asap .again after further goof ups by them my refund cheque was sent to me after a month .
The entire ordeal lasted for 5 months and from that day till now I have not ordered anything from thier website and do not have any plan to do so in future .
