My wife ordered Ladder of Love+ 1 Blackforest Cake+1 Red Wine(Sula) to be delivered to her parents on their 40th wedding anniversary. The Ladder of Love was supposed to be Four Dozen Red Roses with palm leaves beautifully arranged on wooden ladders - 3 feet height. Little Golden color on palm leaves. My wife wanted to signify 4 dozen roses as each dozen for each decade of her parents’ wedding. Also her mom likes blackforest cake and dad loves red wine.
The order no. was 701354646(Sub order no. 71562576 and 71562577) and was supposed to be delivered on midnight of 18th Feruary 2013. The total amount charged was Rs4198/-
What got delivered was 20 red roses in a vase(instead of 4 dozen roses arranged in wooden ladders)+ 1 pineapple cake(instead of blackforest cake)+ 1 White wine(instead of Red wine of Sula). Only thing they did right was the time of delivery.
When my wife came to know of the goof up in products delivered she promptly lodged a complaint on 19th Feb 2013 on the website of Ferns and Petals. Other than getting an email from them telling their team to look into it nothing was heard from FNP. It is now more than 4 days, but FNP is silent, not even an apology mail or phone call. Ferns and Petals took their payment in advance but delivered embarrassment and sadness to be suffered for whole life by their customer, and now their silence is deafening.
If you want to ruin a nice occasion order from Ferns and Petals, else avail other avenues to gift which do not goof up so blatantly and then remain silent shamelessly.
