I am about to complete 30000 kms with my emotion pk- Linea. The overall experience is not that good. The car has rusting problem and service done be dealers is not upto mark. The TATA network is absolutely NO for Fiat Cars, the mechanics mis-handle car and treat them like TATA-Indica and other tough car, in every service you will get the marks of the service engineer on your car and that leaves a very bad exp.
Fiat should do something about the service and rusting problem of the car.
On the good side:-
Fuel efficiency: 12.5 kms/Lt in city and 14.5~15 kms/Lt on highway. I found it good.
Comfort in city driving: OK, as my car doesn’t have turbo charge engine, which Fiat has realized and introduced Tjet.
Comfort on highway: Good, the grip on road and stability of vehicle is good.
Features like Blue&Me are quite helpful in city drive.
Car’s headlamp are superb and give good visibility in night driving.
Other drawbacks:-
The A/C problem was there(at peak temp of 40+degree the CAR A/C was not effective), however recently Fiat has provided the kit to fix it; I have got the kit in car but still to test the effectiveness and will get to know in this coming summer.
Ground Clearance: the ground clearance of the vehicle is not that good but much better than Honda City. However in Tjet the Fiat has been able to fix the same.
Overall its good to see that the major 3 problem that Fiat must have heard from customers have been fixed in Tjet
Low A/C: also fixed by providing kits for earlier sold Linea
Low ground clearance: no fix available for earlier sold vehicle
Low pickup in initial gears: no fix available for earlier sold vehicle.
