This is my first review, hope you like it. We had bought the new Palio Stile 1.1 SLX. Actually we had figured out three cars Tata Indica Turbo, Hyundai Santro Xing XO and Chevy Spark. When I went to TATA showroom I had noticed the palio stile. Palio was not in my list only but somehow ended up buying Palio Stile. OK here is my view about the car.
Performance---Everybody said that the car was underpowered, because of its low bhp and heavy bodyweight. But it is nothing like that, only the initial pickup is low, after once it has crossed the speed limit of 60kmph everything goes fine and while driving the car in city traffic won’t make you feel it is underpowered. The only situation where you can feel that it had lost some horses is when you overtake any speeding vehicle. But it works fine in the city. On the highways, it can do better but not the best in terms of pickup. Overall, the performance is OK (satisfied). The good thing is that it doesn’t have rattling sound or you wont feel the cabin is vibrating when you touch down 80-100kmph. The handling is superb; I don’t know what does the Fiat engineers had kept in the engine. It does a splendid job. The engine is very reliable and this time we can believe
Fiat.Exterior---The name itself resembles the STYLE. Car has a body coloured bumpers, body coloured rear view mirrors, Doubled barreled headlamps-the only car offering you such thing and overall the Italiano look.Solidly build
Interiors----He has given you the same old dashboard but with the new two-tone beige interior. Everything is done electronically. Power windows (f/r), nice bootspace and can easily fit up to 5. The comfort is also OK, AC is working fine. 1 min to make everything feel cool breeze, seat adjustments and a lot of things.
Mileage----Nice work by Fiat. On city conditions it would give 13kmpl, normally the other cars will also give the same mileage and on highways 17-18 kmpl.
After sales servicing is also nice, Tata has taken the duty of servicing Fiat cars.TATA is not expertise in dealing with the old cars like Sienna, Uno. The servicing of the car will be taken by TATA dealer, but fiat expertise is going to handle the job (for further information on servicing-check out fiatclubindia.com)
I don’t find any problems with the car regarding about the performance only underpowered car, mileage, reliability, and looks which are stylish. I had observered that TATA is trying to bluff the customers. He said that Indica Turbo gives a mileage of 16kmpl in city, but after all my enquiries I’ve found that it only gives you 12kmpl. I think that for family, for the people who love mileage, for stylish and reliability Fiat Palio Stile suits the best..
