Fiat Palio Stile 1.6 Sport - The best hatchback

After using a Fiat Palio Stile 1.6 Sport for a year now(over 12, 000 km), I find it difficult to imagine how I ever settled for less! All those who fear Fiat cars because of poor dealerships, and even poorer mileage, the time has come to consider the Fiat Palio.

This car has the best combination of style, power, performance, features and looks that money can buy in a compact hatchback.

The sheer exhilaration of accelerating from 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds(yes, i’ve done it several times and had it timed because I thought I must be wrong) makes you feel on top of the world. The car feels rock solid, and handles like a charm. Driving like that does drop the mileage though.

At 140 kmph, (which is the max i’ve ever tried to push this car to) the road grip and handling is still very reassuring. With close family and kids in the car, i’ve still felt as secure as if we were travelling in a battle-tank, and at the same time as comfortable as flying a luxury airliner in Business Class.

The suspension is amazing, making small bumps that you feel in every other hatchback / small car just disappear.

The dealership I bought this at has always been most helpful, and has given timely advice and excellent service.

I currently get an average of 11.8 - 12.0 km per liter of Petrol within Pune city with A/C on. I have received just over 14 kmpl on highways with A/C on. There is absolutely zero power loss when turning on the A/C, just as you’d expect from a luxury / sports car.
