Fida is the story of Shahid Kapoor who loves Kareena he will do anyting for her. So he resorts to the old deewanapan (I dunnno if desi girls still fall for this shit) carves her name in his wrist... so well... he’s not bleeding.
After sometime he finds that Kareena and Fardeen are on this together and they’ve framed him for their own crime.
I won’t bout the plot, other user have done that.
The story is a rip of from OUT OF TIME of Denzel Washington where in the end he finds out the girls framed him but just an Indianized version.
What’s totally crap is the morning Shahid is chained to a bench and Fardeen saheb is actually breaking bottles !! Who practices marshal arts like that ? and would breaking bottles show him more dangerous and powerful if he lifted weights? or did some serious marshall arts.
Look at Saif Ali Khan in Ek Haseena Thi, his martial art scenes make him look dangerous and you believe he is dangerous.
What’s lame is the shooting locations, Kim Sharma is supposedly to be married in Britian... though she spots Fardeen and Kareena in a Lamborghini in Dubai.
So half the scences show Capetown and the rest Dubai, even the yacht that Fardeen and Shahid meet on is in Dubai.
The songs well, two songs are good and the rest are fill-ins.
Shahid Kapoor no doubt is a excellent dancer and his acting skills are good too.
The end of the movie is sad. Its where the director wants to be different and this is is downfall. Such a big DON as Babu Anna dies so quickly and Shahid doesnt go down with 4-5 bullets and ultimately shoots Kareena and dies himself.
Leaving Fardeen alone, who donates his loot to charity.
What could have been better was a smart set up by Shahid where he gets Fardeen to be killed by Babu Anna, leave Kareena alone and Kareena gives herself in and keep the money to himself.
