Fida promised to be a fun movie but it turned out to be a total disaster.....It lacks that sweet charm which was apparent in the debut movie(Ishq Vishq) of Ken Ghosh.
STORY ANALYSIS:
Two love stories.... both do not have the perfect ending.
The punchline sounds good and catchy. What does it suggest? It gives an impression that it is a Triangular Love-Story with a difference. This is where lies the most degraded part of the movie. It fails to charm the audience. It fails to come up to their expectations.
It starts on a good note. With lovey-dovey things happening. Shahid falling in love with Kareena... Kim dotes on Shahid but invain. Won’t reveal much. All I will say is that.... yup there are 2 love stories and both do not survive.
Songs are good and hummable. Dance is brilliant. Acting is good too. But there is no potential in the story. Story is not at all impresive. And who says that it is different. I don’t think so. It has shades of ’Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ and ’Ajnabi’. In the beginning, Shahid follows Kareena relentlessly which reminds us of Tushaar in MKKH.
PERFORMANCES:
Shaahid Kapoor looks good, dances well & even manages to act well upto interval but that is it.... after that it is a mundane revenge story without any chills & thrills. It fails to scare you. It fails to keep you guessing. It fails to hold your interest.
Kareena’s acting came as a surprise to me. She managed to act well, guys!! Yup, I liked her in this movie. I believe she has managed to shed her ’Poo’ title. She looked charming.
Kim was a waste and she looked terribly sick. I wonder how ppl appreciated her?
Fardeen was just ok. As an Internet Bank Robber, he was neither bad nor good.
That is all for a movie which was run-of-the-mill stuff with gr8 promos.
