Kudos to Anu Malik for once again coming with such good tracks. Anu Malik is generally known for giving chaloo type songs but still he is known for giving hits. This time also he hasn?t failed and given nice music and ’’Nazar Nazar’’ is already on everyone’s tongue.
I will take up ?Nazar Nazar’’ first which is my favourite song of the album. This song is sung by Udit Narayan and is quite good. Apart from the good music it has good lyrics and Udit’s peppy voice is quite suits it. A very short of the song also has Sapna Mukherjee’s voice and she is very melodious. Overall the song is full of zeal and is bound to be a hit.
I am not taking the songs as they appear in the album but by the popularity of the song. The second song in the list is ’’Aaja Ve Mahi’’. The song has voices of Alka Yagnik, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Udit Narayan. This is a party type song with some english in between here and there. I would say that though the lyrics is not very good but due to the music this song has become very popular.
The third song I am taking is ’’Maine Jisko Chaha’’. This song has beatuful voices of Alisha Chinai and Sonu Nigam. Sonu nigam is excellent as usual with unorthodox voice of Alisha. Overall the song is good to hear. The lyrics are average.
This song ?Dil Mere Naam? though not very popular but I consider it as the melodiest song of the album with good lyrics and music. It has been sung by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan to perfection. The melodious music of this song is quite of Nadeem-Shrawan type. Overall I would rate this as second best song of the album after ’’Nazar Nazar’’.
Last but not the least.This song ’’Aaj Kaho Sanam Jitna’’ sung by Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu though not very famous but is melodious. For all the Kumar Sanu fans he is superb as usual.
Finally I would say that this album is worth buying with rating of 3.5 out of 5.
