I would call it a best seller but a baseless concept.(Without offending anyone) It reminded of a B grade movie . EL James simply used psychology to arise interest in her book.
She made her target audience to enjoy vicarious pleasure through it.
Given the publicity and controversy associated with it; it was bound to garner a fan base.
But, as many literary critics have pointed out-it is simply a sheer foreplay!
Alas, James has made it to top reading lists and has appeared in a number of interviews after its publication.
No, I won’t recommend it to others as it is nothing but soft porn!
