Let us not, just not discuss about the book! Though the book wasnt as pathetic as the movie. And let us not, just not recall the brilliant way in which Sir Rushdie described the book and the author.
The hype this movie garnered was unprecedented(read useless) and the way it was anticipated and received was, well, let us not talk about that too. I am sorry if I am not talking about the useless things about the movie here.
Well, the movie tried to show a billionaire boy(not man because men do not use women for mean pleasure) who has lajawaab(kinky) ways of having consensual sex with his partners and, I guess, falls in love with one such girl(not a woman because she doesnt loom like one).
The director, Shri Sam Taylor Johnson, failed to show the lavishness described in the book or anything else for that matter.
Nudity isnt erotica if not written or directed or choreographed well.
The only good thing about the movie is the soundtrack. Give it a hear. You might like it. I did. The very opening number rang a bell(or two) in my head. Kidding, man. The soundtrack is good. Kidding about the ringing bell part.:P
Cheers.:D
