One of the most putrid, miserable, unending and embarassing books I have ever had the misfortune of setting hands on .I agree , Mr.Mistry , as an Indian , that our country like any other is riddled with its unique set of inadequecies, but to try to bring it up all in one vicous, spiteful bout of verbal diarrheoa does not speak well on your talent.
Let me tell, I had to stop midway through the book, after I threw up !!!!!!!!!!! No book should ever ever do that to a reader.Fiction should be uplifting and does not have look for story material under the filth -ridden nails of the unfortutate. And I thought Arundhati Roy was indespicable!!!!
Something tells me that Oprah for sure did not read through the whole book, or else she has really let me down here.
I hope you sleep well at night Mr.Mistry, after having made your worth of the country you fled from.Let me see, is there any other incident in our history you have left out?
