They tout themselves as a leading e-tailing book store in India, and promise deliver of books all over India and United States. I had the misfortune of placing my faith in them, and ordering books from them.. Their website shows an impressive list of books, many with reduced prices. They boast of tie-ups with various companies like HDFC, Hughes Escorts Communications, Reliance WebWorld, UPS, DTDC Amtrex couriers etc.
Their support staff (namely, Ms Kavita Negi , Mr. Sanjay Sehgal Mr Gulshan Kumar) gets in touch with you as soon you place an order, and promptly replies queries. Their CEO Ms Misha Dange brands herself as the CEO of the ‘Indian Amazon’ They have a office address in Delhi and multiple phone numbers.
All this looks good upfront but the honeymoon ends as soon they deduct money from your bank, Visa card et. al. After this all your queries are met with failure delivery or pending delivery notices. Not to mention over charging of your account. Cheated customers have trashed firstandsecond.com in their reviews on , complaints.com and planetcustomer.com. It was my mistake that I didn’t go through these before ordering from these thugs.
