Sorry for being blunt, firstcry online portal is the worst online shopping experience I ever had and it is a blot to the whole etail industry. None of the orders till now I had done was delivered according to the norms I had placed the order. I didn’t want to make a fuss about it initially as I had assumed it will improve over time.
Below is the history of the service irregularities,
First order on nursing bras, the ordered color was not delivered.
The second order on baby liquid detergent combo was very delayed and after 1.5 months the combo order was cancelled and points credited to my first cry account. If they were not able to honor the order made, the least I would expect is to tender an apology and communicate me the choice I want to proceed with. What they have done is sans courtesy and shows the arrogance of the organization and the management.
In the last order there was a buy one get one offer for wipes, to our surprise we got only one though we ordered for that offer.
For all the spamming they did in mailbox with tons of offer mails, they were not even able to honor one.
The worst part is even after repeated complaints they tried to smartly side step the issue, by saying they have not charged us for the combo. The issue was not about charging the correct figure(as per them), the issue is they have lured gullible customer like us with combo offers and never had the qualms for not delivering them. The last thing I am going to do is to delete their account and shop with Mom and Me instead, though they are costlier atleast the offers are real over there.
Our only advise is to avoid firstcry.com and try shopping with mom and me, if thats not in your budget you can shop with fancy stores near by you selling baby care products. If you really cant find an alternative or if you are in urgency you can visit the near by brick and mortar first cry store itself than this worst etailer.
