FirstCry will definitely make customer CRY

I have placed an order of’Fun Doh Funskool Ice Cream Shop’ - a play with clay kit, for my daughter. Order No. 2856557OS77102971 . The product came late(understandably so due to Chennai floods) after multiple follow ups. However, they do not have the courtesy to respond to customer calls well or inform us about the delay in delivery. My wife had to call them 8 times across 3 days to get to know a committed timeline for delivery.

To add insult to injury have been the pathetic quality of the product. I am sure it was a defective item from funskool which was on sale thru this website.

Firstcry need to know few things regarding why a customer purchase online?

Ans. - Wide selection.

No embarrassment from salesmen if we probe more about the product.

Competitive price.

Above all - Hassle free buyback experience(most major retailers have the "no-questions-asked-if-you-return-product" approach), which prompt them to ensure about the quality of products.

Firstcry failed on more than one of these aspects:

1. They have no reviews published for the product. After purchase of the product we too provided our feedback on the poor quality. Once submitted, the portal said "Thanks for your valuable feedback" and the feedback just vanished.

2. Quality of the product is pathetic. Firstcry should’ve atleast read the poor review of the products and would’ve ensured that these were not put on sale.

3. Customer service us unpleasant

Honest suggestion to readers: -

Avoid Firstcry.
