FirstCry Delivery Fraud & Coupon Scam

FirstCry & First Flight Delivery Fraud:

  1. I ordered for the Mee Mee all purpose cleaner on 22 Nov 2014 (1324997NQ660D0000 - CreditCard Paid). The order was placed with an estimated delivery date of 29 Nov 2014.

The product didn’t reach me till 03 Dec 2014. The product was withheld at the first flight Coimbatore location from 27 Nov 2014.


Only after I called FirstCry -> ExperssBees -> First Flight, then the delivery guy took that product and came to my home. When I asked him why it took so long, he was telling I wont come every day sir, I will wait for 2 days or more for the packages to accumulate and then will deliver.


If it doesn’t, I will just return it saying ’customer rejected’ or’damaged during shipment’. This is based on my off the records chat with him.


I was literally shocked.


2.I placed an order for 2 Nos of Chicco genle body wash and shampoo with a coupon code for Rs.150.(1324997NJ73027006 - CreditCard Paid) on 29 Nov 2014.


08 Dec 2014 was the estimated delivery date. I didn’t get the product by the expected date. So I called the Firstcry.


I got an update saying there was an accident with the shipping vehicle and all the products in that container got damaged. So I have to reorder.


I asked what happens to my coupon code then. The Customer Care person told me that sorry sir, you have already used it. I told him - dude, the product has never reached me and it was not my fault.


So ideally if Firstcry believes in customer care then they should credit back the coupon to the customer with a revised validity date.


He was sounding like a robot repeating the same lines, so I told him to giving it to the supervisor. He bet his job now saying before 7PM today my supervisor will call you sir.


No one cared to call me from FirstCry. They wanted me to reorder for the second time.


3.I placed my second order on 03 Dec 2014(1324997NS774C2913 - COD) for 2 Nos of same Chicco gentle body wash and shampoo.


I selected Cash On Delivery this time, so I dont have to be afraid that these guys will screw me this time as well. I was tracking the order daily. It was supposed to be delivered on 12 Dec 2014.


Today is 15 Dec 2014. I saw the shipment status as’Delivered-Returned To Consignor’. I called the the Customer Care and they said, sir the shipment got damaged and returned.


Please place the order one more time. Seriously! I told him this is not the first time it is happening. Added this time I used a Rs.200 Coupon.


Same response, no coupon refund, supervisor will call before 7PM, Please reorder, we are sorry. I got pissed off. I told him if you really mean what you say.


If you are really sorry, then you should not mind paying that Rs200 discount amount from your pocket and getting the rest from me in placing a new order(which will again get returned or not delivered).


Lessons Learnt - Whenever you apply a coupon for Rs.150+ your order never gets delivered.


First Cry - Will not have an immediate response and will pass the blame on to First Flight


With FirstCry it is a forever cry customer service experience.
