Well if u though chennai was just about the sultry weather, the marina beach and idlis u;ll be forced to think again.
The Taj owns the fisherman’s cove which is a few kilometres outside chennai on ECR ( east coast road )....the road can be bumpy but the destination is worth the roller coaster ride.....it apparently was once a dutch fort converted into a beach resort.
a primly kept property surrounded by sandy beaches and a refreshing sea breeze.
If u want a quick getaway here’s the place.........
and for those of you who want to mix business with pleasure the property has remarkable conference and boardroom facilities where they’ll arrange just about anything u’d need!!!
There are a couple of restaurants on the property to suit ur mood but The sea food is exquisite and the service lives up to the legacy of the taj hotels.
Well appointed rooms....and if u can just a lil’ more get a garden facing cottage or better still a sea view where u can while away serene moments admiring the beautiful sunset over the bay of bengal.
the cottages even have an open shower area!!!
the who’s who of the world have been here and if u r chatty enough u can convince one of the staff to list them.
and if u still want more theres a humungus pool with a sunken bar, u can go for boat rides, work up a sweat at the bar or play pool
there’s even a spa if u r up for some holistic treatments....
It might look a lil overpriced but at the end the place makes up for it.......
u can hir a car or ask for pick up.......and there’s all the usual facilities any regular taj property would provide for you.....
