Fish is best eaten here ! These guys have mastered that art of cooking fish to the Five Rights , i.e., Right Marination , Right Cooking, Right Aroma , Right Presentation and Finally the Right taste !!Try the King Fish (seer fish) Fry! The Prawn sticks are an Unique dish found perhaps only in this restaurant. The Chicken Sukka is the best that I have ever eaten. The fried ladyfish ( Kane Fry ) is legendary ! Do ask the friendly waiter for the Fish land Salad (Not on the Menu) . which is an unique combo of Capsicum and Onions which gives one an Exquisite out of the world taste ! I would suggest the one try the ’’Fishland Status’’ restaurant which is next to the main Fish land restaurant. Other than the Bar , the ambience here in Fish Land Status is much better ! The Main Fish land restaurant is of course a “no frills” restaurant without any ambience whatsoever. This Restaurant still has its loyal, probably die hard Mangalore clientele who will not be caught dead in any other ambience other than the one in the main fish land restaurant! Overall where this restaurant scores, is in their preparation and the unique exquisite taste! I have even entertained Japanese friends here who swear that it is the best fish that have eaten in this part of the country. Dinner for two without drinks would touch Rs. 500/- . Parking is a problem outside, so plan ahead!
