The makers of the movie admitted to the tremendous amount of responsibility the task of portraying this story carried. One challenge faced was acquiring a real plane for shooting. Because of this, the director - Ram Madhvani -& Rucha Pathak - Creative Officer of Fox Studios - decided to go for re-creating the plane( as a major part of the film required shooting against the plane back-drop) . But it was a major challenge to re-create the Pan-Am plane with the feel of how planes used to be in 1986.
The daunting process took 48 days and plane was painstakingly designed, built with all the doorknobs, cabins, shutters, and even the Analog meters used in 1980s
