Review : There are many talented and great actors Bollywood has produced. There are so many actors has struggled to reach their position. I am not here to underestimate all the artist of Bollywood. They are great with their own style of acting. I respect all the artist of Bollwyood. Even I respect those artists who never made big in Bollywood. The great actor should be full of feelings, and especially he should feel the things he is portraying. He must feel an emotion not only once or twice while he is studying his parts, but greater or lesser degree every time he plays it, no matter whether it is the first or the thousandth times. Here are my top 5 actors of Bollywood:
1: MITHUN CHAKRABORTY: Mithun chakraborty graduated form the Film Telvision Institute of India. He is the Gold Medalist in acting. Nobody dreamt that this boy is going to rule the world in future. He has a very ordinary family background comparing to the established stars of his time. But as one knows you cannot overlook a genius for long. He started his career with a bang, getting the national award for his very first film - MRIGAYA which is directed by Genius Mrinal Sen.He first taste success in the Hindi film SURAKSHA. Nowadays the heroes are fond of fighting with a gun on one hand and with a girl on another. It is our own MITHUN DADA who showed us that in SURKASHA. He became a dancing sensation in India with DISCO DANCER and the film created history not only in India but in RUSSIA, CHINA, AFRICA, BANGLADESH, EGYPT, UK, USA and many other countries. But the big question at that point of time he is whether he can act? He proved wrong to his critics by giving one his best performances in PYAR JHUKTA NEHIN. He has won awards in all categories- Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Villain. He is also the only star who has given hits like - SURAKSHA (For his Action), DISCO DANCER, DANCE DANCE etc. (For his Dance) and PYAR JHUKTA NEHIN, PREM PRATIGYA etc. (For his acting). I think this more than enough to prove the caliber of his sensational star of BOLLYWOOD. This star has the courage to refuse a Mani Ratnams film only to save his director Gautam Ghosh (GUDIA). Nobody will dare to do that. He has the capability to take any films on his shoulders. Only a handful of his producers have lost their money on a Mithun starter. That is because audience still watch movies because they have MITHUN DADA as the hero. No matter whether it is B or C grade or a big budget film Mithun means everything to them. JALLAD for e.g. has no big star cast nor it is a A grade movie ( in terms of Big names and Budget) but still it is a Mega hit - only for this talented actor. Nobody can imagine a person doing such parallel roles at the same time - LORD RAMAKRISHNA, CHANDAL and TITLI .But when the name is Mithun it is possible. Because Mithun has the talent to do such kind of roles simultaneously. He in true sense is BOLLYWOODs pride. A hero like Mithun will come in a century. Mithun Chakravorty in that regard is more avant garde than a Satyajit Ray. Working within the confines of the Hindi film industry, Mithunda has managed to tweak Bollywood‘s cultural ineptitude so well, that one often wonders whether Mithun writes the scripts himself. The 1986 B Subhash superhit Dance Dance featured a young boy and girl who reach financial destitution because their sexy mother (who sings a plagiarized version of the Modern Talking single, Brother Louis titled Zubi Zubi Zubi) is held prisoner in Amrish Puri‘s haveli. Amrish Puri blows up the father, naturally. In the midst of this crisis, the sister reprimands her famished brother when he almost dies of dehydration on Madh Island. She tells him that”agar tujhe zindagi mein halwa khana hain to tujhe dance karna padega. Dance dance.” If you want halwa in life, you‘ve gotta dance. That boy grew up to become Mithun. He didn‘t have a choice. He in true sense is BOLLYWOODs pride. A hero like Mithun will come in a century. Mithun Chakraborty has worked with some of the world class directors: Recommend to watch: Mrigaya by Mrinal Sen, Gudia by Ghoutam Ghosh, Tahahder katha by Buddhadeb Das Gupta, Titli by Ritu Parno Ghosh, Agneepath by Mukul Anand.
AAMIR KHAN: Mr Perfectionist, I like his style of acting. He is very discipline actor. He has proved his talent in film like SARFAROSH, LAGAAN which the pride of Indian Cinema. And many more. I like they way he act and his style. I like all his fiilms.
3:NASEER UDDIN SHAH . He is a really great actor of Indian Cinema. In 1975 he was discovered by Director Shyam Benegal, and was cast in Nishaant. He immediately became a favorite of Mr. Benegal and was given several more roles in his films. He has found his niche in the industry with his portrayals of the common man. Even surpassing those of his contemporaries, he executed an awesome performance of Gandhi himself. Although not necessarily a method actor, his dedication for his roles prompted him to spend a week at a school for the blind in preparation for Sparsh in 1980. Liked him in Monsoon Wedding.
4: DHARMENDRA: was more than just a fine-looking man who was, for three whole decades (the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s), the symbol of sinewy masculinity in Hindi films. What is significant is that Dharmendra had the rare ability to combine his Samsonesque physique with a vulnerable smile, rueful good humour and a transparent sensitivity.
5: RAJESH KHANNA : No rise or fall of a star has been as been quite as dramatic or spectacular as that of Rajesh Khanna. Rajesh Khanna phenomenon swept Bollywood off its feet and the hysteria he generated was unlike anything seen before and after. Dear friends this my list. Please do write your opinion and rate. Thank you
