She was one spark of energy. Even when I watch her films I can feel her colourful beauty even in the black and white pictures of those times. She was so full of enthusiasm and energy all the time. Love the scenes when she was shown to be angry. She looked more beautiful even then. I guess Kishore Kumar was really born with tremendous stars in his favour:)
- Nutan
Acting and Aura personified was Nutan. An ideal woman in her times her roles left you with amazing awe. The role she played in Bandini, Milan and many other films like these was just amazing.
- Nargis
Just one wonderful performance in Mother India is enough to put this charming lady in anyone’s top five for’acting’. She was just wonderful in the legend movie. Of course she has many creditable hits one can never forget. Movies with the showman Raj Kapoor where she portrayed youth and enthusiam levels like no one else did.
- Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri started off like any other heroine of her time. She was not the bright from the start types. But the way she groomed herself both in looks and acting is surely applaudible. She is one of the most complete actress of recent times. No wonder she was compared to the great Madhubala. She can do justice to any type of role that comes across her.
- Kajol
After Madhuri the only other heroine that stood up to tremendous acting levels was this babe Kajol. Though Karisma was close but no enough. Kajol too started average but shaped up to reach the top in no time. Her commitment levels are of the top draw which even a blind man can feel listening to her dialogues. Even the transition in the way shes looks has been mind-blowing. Today she is definitely on the top.
