Since in under 24 hrs it will be Valentines 2002. Here is a list albeit a brief one of my 5 favourite english love songs. These are ranked in no order of popularity. I don’t expect anyone else to agree with these as they are ultimately my favourites and no one elses. So here it goes
Unchained Melody - the Righteous Brothers. What can I say. Didn’t here it until the film Ghost came out and have liked it ever since. Nice song with pretty https://lyrics. Has been massacred a few times by the likes of Robson and Jerome. Nothing has compared yet to the original.
Lets Stay together - Al Green. If you’ve been watching Ally Mcbeal, Al Green has turned up a few times as one of her imaginary singers. Also appeared in pulp fiction. Really like the lyrics of this one. Full of soul.
The Way you look tonight - Harry Connick Jr. Has also been done by most of the old crooners. There are very few song lyrics that compare to this ones.
You’re the first my last my everything - Barry White. can’t really have a list of the 5 greatest love songs without including the Walrus of lurve.
Don’t want to miss a thing - Aerosmith. Featured as part of the Armageddon sound track. If you thought that Everything I do was good listen to this one. Aerosmith at their best.

Can’t take my eyes of you - Andy Williams. Bit more upbeat and a bit more cheesy but still a favourite.
