...And what better way to express the feeling of love than with music. I am sure everyone who has ever been in love has their own special love songs that they hold close to their heart. For a lot of people, certain songs will reflect on memories shared and reflect on the feelings they have had for someone at certain times in their life whether it be at present or in the past. For those of you who have yet to experience this, trust me, your time will come! And then you will understand what I am talking about.
My list is compiled of my personal favorite love songs, the songs that remind me of different times of my life and capture the special moments that I have shared with the ones I have loved. (By the way, I found it impossible to narrow the list down to five...Sorry!)

This version did not reach the same heights as the original as Bryan Adams, in fact, I don’t think a lot of people know that Brandy did a cover of this song! However, although the original was great, I think that this is even better! Brandy’s vocals on this are superb and the slow R’n’B beats are more appealing than Bryan Adams’ soft rock version in my opinion.

The lyrics are phenomenal and this has to be one of the greatest love songs ever written. It is a song that will always remain a classic and one that will hold certain memories for individual reasons. I can listen to this song over and over again and not get bored of it.
♫♫ How Do I Live..?- LeAnn Rimes ♫♫
LeAnn Rimes shot to fame with this song and rightly so! It was beautifully sung and the lyrics are brilliant. It really brings out the mushy side in you! (Well, I speak for myself!)

A sad love song that sounds extremely sexy with the use of a saxophone as the background music. This rightfully deserves to be one of the all-time ultimate love songs!

Whitney held the number one spot in the UK for a massive 10 weeks with this song that was taken from The Bodyguard soundtrack, and whoever has heard this would instantly know why. Whitney’s powerful vocals are simply mind-blowing and the lyrics are beautifully written and the words express so much feeling and passion.

♫♫ One Sweet Day- Mariah Carey/Boyz II Men ♫♫
This song is about losing a loved one and really does bring out deep emotions if you listen to the words carefully and are moved by the strong vocals of gospel-sounding Boyz II Men and the sweet angelic voice of Mariah Carey. These two acts make a dynamic combination and can not fail to move you.

I love this song mainly for the lyrics rather than the tune. The words just reach out to you and it is beautifully sung by the artist too.

The words say it all, it is a song that I could just lay back and listen to and really make me appreciate the feeling of being in love.

This is a wonderful slow, ballad that will reach out to anyone who has ever had their heart broken. It captures the mood perfectly and the words express the emotions effectively. Toni’s vocals are powerful in this slow RnB ballad.

This is one of the most recent favorites of mine and all credit goes to Will Young for bringing justice to this song! This was a cover version by Westlife but I feel that Will’s version was far better because of his vocals and style.
