I seriously don’t know why I am tempted to write on this topic. Love songs or romantic numbers are not my forte, mine is the way of rock(No, I am not a geologist). But then I said, Hey, there are a few romantic songs in the soft rock genre too . Plus, telling you frankly, I was bored with the increasingly predictable list of Greatest Love Song or Favorite Love Songs . I mean . Please guys! Nothings gonna change my love for you, I just called to say I love you, Everything I do are good songs, but are done to death! I wanted someone to think beyond these songs and come up with a different-approach list. So here is my feeble effort to combine these two . 5. Eagles:- Love will keep us alive.
This one is a real softly, quite popular too actually, but then good nevertheless. I like the gentle strumming of the guitars as the soft voice of singer Don Henley makes magic with his voice. The wordings are what makes all the difference actually. This is the part I like the most in the song.

Previously when my roommate used to put on this song I never used to like it, but this is one of those songs which grow onto you. Maybe after I learnt to play the song, I started liking it. It has got very distinctive chord progression and this is the first song I learnt to play with a capo on, its fun to sing along too(the . maybeeeeeeeee .you gonna be the one to save meeeeeeeeee . part). My favorite part of the song is

3.Sixpence None The Richer:- Kiss me
I don’t know how many have heard this song but find this song extremely romantic. Its sung also in a very sweet female voice. It’s got that innocent and cute quality about(gosh! I don’t believe I just said that!). Also the guitar strumming is great, basic chords but amazing strumming. Plus of course the lyrics are simple and sweet. Read the lyrics if you haven’t heard the song

Truly befitting to be called a Power Ballad, this wonderful songs starts with your typical Scorpions style licks. Then the tempo slowly picks up with some power chords kicking in. You can literally hear the crowd screaming in unison . Am still loving youuuuu-uuuu-uu. Its one of those songs which makes you feel all passionate about being in love.

1.U2:- With or without you
What can be said about this song that’s not already said. Truly one of the greatest song of all times. The song starts softly with the usual U2 style guitar licks and bono(the god) with his extremely sexy voice(Man! Only if I had that voice). As in the case of all U2 songs the soul of this song too is the https://lyrics. Only one man can come up with such ironical but very romantic https://lyrics. Bono. Undoubtedly one of my favorite songs.

So there. There could have been a few more songs in the list I know but you would definitely never find any of the usual mushy gushy, popish, boy bandish, latino song with * baby, baby, baby * after every 3 word. That’s just not me.
