When it comes to top five Indipop songs, I would like to first segregate them into different moods and then give them a rating.
First in my list comes are songs which give me the best of my energetic moments:
The topper in this list has to be
Vaande Maatram - A. R. Rahman(Vaande Maatram)
The reason being quite simply the theme of patriotism attached to it and to support that, some wonderful music. Also the video has to be one of the best among all the songs belonging to the Indi pop segment.
Next in this list will go to
Dosti - Junoon(Dosti)
Again the theme of the song plays a very important part in getting this song so up in the list. Also, the lyrics are fabulous.
Following quite closely will be
Aadat - Jal(Aadat) has become an anthem for me
Phir Dhoom - Euphoria(Phir Dhoom) i just love the lyrics
and
Bulla Ki Jaana - Rabbi Shergill * Thanks Aakriti(aaks j) on updating me
Next I would like to lists the songs which gets the best out of me when it comes to romance and love
Again a very competetive list and no specific ordering among them:
Pyar ke Pal - KK(Pal) This is the carrer maker for KK
Tere Bin Jeena - Bali Bhramabhat(?) * His best piece till date
Suno - Lucky Ali(Suno) * Great music and lyrics
Ho gayi hai mohabat - Aslam and Shivani(Ho gayi hai mohabat) Seems like expressing myself the best
Who Lamhey - Jal(Aadat) * I belive this one has to be one of the most ever green songs. I hope time will prove that.
Purani jeans - (Purani Jeans) * I just cant forget those college days of mine which are perfectly signified in this song
Also, there are 3 other songs which I can never leave from this list and these belong to those sad times when you have been dumped by your girl friend(I have been a couple of times;-)):
*Saare Sapne kahin kho gaye - Alka Yalginik(Tum Yaad Aaye)
Kho gaye kahan jaanam - Aryans(Yhe Hawa)
Phir Haath Main Sharab - Pankaj Udhas(?) *
- The composition of these tracks is just absolutely perfect.
