One distinctively good feature of our movies are the songs that are their in the movies. The music and lyrics of the industry touch heart and soul. They are there for all the occasions, wedding, party, devotional etc….Then there is inspiring or inspirational songs.
“Woh Sikandar Hi Dosto(Jo Jeeta Wo Hi Sikandar)”, is my first pick. Whenever I feel that I may not succeed I try to give more than my 100% because I know that no one cares about the looser but salutes the star of the day.
“Guddi’s Humko Maan Ki Shakti Dena”**, is a song that tells me that I should do the things ethically and should follow the right path. I remember that during the school days once I couldn’t sleep for the whole night because in one exam I had asked for an answer from the person who was sitting next to me. I am still ashamed of that even today but since then I have not done anything unethical.
Everyone has their share of ups and downs, so did I. During the low patch of my life I use to always feel that “Zindgi Ki Yahi Reet hai(Mr. India)” and learned my lesson of “Rote Rote Hasna Sikho( Andha Kanun)”. I think that it is extremely easy to crib about things and sit back and cry. Life has its phases and nothing is permanent, either you sit back and wait for some miracle to happen or make the best of what is available and strive to improve upon that.
My list of inspirational song will be incomplete without “Allah Tero Naam(Hum Dono)”, it is more of devotional song but I guess that for me it is important to mention this as the lyrics points to the development(all three spiritual, intellectual and material) of all the section of the society. Other reason why I find this as an inspirational song, is because of the presentation of the song in the back ground of the war.
Many may not agree with my list but very happy to note that some find it inspiring and few are inspired.
