Its been a while since I wrote a review here.In terms of action, malayalam movies cant be compared with the say, Hindi movies or tamil movies just because malayalam producers aint got that much money!
Neverthless malayalam cinema has produced some really compelling action movies.
Spadikam
The movie that most easily comes to my mind.mohanlal did some mind-blowing stuff in this movie.More than just plain action, like punching, it is his body language and facial expressions in the action scenes, that elevated this movie to new heights.
Yodha
Wow!I always felt this movie is for dreamers.It promises to transport the viewers into a fantasy world and I have gone many a trip to nepal courtesy Yodha.
Coming to action, this film promises loads.The training of mohanal from a nepali master bears quite a distant resemblance to what you see in van damme movies.mohanlal is no vandamme but he neverthless, delivers.
Narasimham
Yet another action-packed movie that ran to packed houses for over 100 days.Mohanlal played to the galleries twirling his moustache and mouthing one-liners .
Nair Saab
Mammoty dominates in this well made movie with some interesting action scenes.
Devasuram
Again mohanlal strikes with his class.he is damn good and extreamly flexible in the action scenes.
Thats it..These are my five.I think malayalam cinema needs more movies in this genre ’’without compromising on quality’’.
