Aw man.I should’nt really be doing this when I have to give a Costing and Audit exam tomorrow. But what the hell.I think I have time.
PS2.many people wrongly believe is a typically’male’ thing. But its not like that.especially when your choices aren’t too different from the’male’ ones. Like fast cars, bikes, noisy music, action movies, getting bored of mushy stuff etc. My cousin bro introduced this thing to me. But my parents refused to get me one because they were sure I would get addicted to it because of the racing, action and fighting games. And before I knew it, my bro’s PS2 was’confiscated’ by his parents because he was spending a disproportionately high amount of time with it. And my mother was like, "See?."
I still remember, there was a time, when he would get up at 7 am in the morning to’study’ but he would decide to play the PS instead.
His tutor came on certain days at 6.30 am(!) to teach him and when she would give him a 15 minute break in between, he would make a dash for the PS and try to play whatever he could in 15 mins.
It was getting a bit too much, so his parents took it away and poor guy.he was heartbroken. But we had played a LOT on it.so paisa vasool ho gaya tha.
I can’t give 5 games coz I’ve not played that many. A single PS2 game can be sooo comprehensive that you can play it for months.
1) GTA: Vice City: GTA is Grand Theft Auto. Tommy Vercetti.the hero of the game is out on a mission. He can kill people, steal cars, he gets to flirt with girls(a bit), girls seem to like him too.like there are some who say things to him like’No money, no funny bunny honey." You can guess who these girls are.he’s a cool talker. You could have a crush on him after playing this for too long, he drives boats, steals helicopters and cheatcodes can even get you to drop a TANK(the army kind) on the road from the sky. then you drive a TANK on the road which is very hilarious. The city in the game is very REAL. Commit any crimes, like stealing a car, shooting people etc. and the police chase you.if you don’t mend your ways, they come after you with choppers. Lots of’doubtful’ people whom Tommy has to dodge. After completing certain missions, he takes over Ricardo Diaz’s mansion. He can drive around in the Leaf Links golf club and shoot villians there too.the radio in the stolen cars ALWAYS plays good music. Saturday night., Billie Jean, I live among the creatures of the night.etc. This is a great game.
2) GTA: San Andreas: similar to GTA: Vice City but slightly higher than that. The’hero’(Carl, I think) can change his attire in this one, can swim underwater(unlike Tommy) and is more’life-like’. But before we could discover too much about this stud, the PS was confiscated. But we did get a taste of it and it was GREAT!
3) 187 Ride or Die: I can’t play this one. Its a race and I always lose. My cousin does really well here though. I tried to improve but only ended up looking like a fool and my bro sighing about how hopeless I was.if you like fast cars, shooters in fast cars, crashing the fast cars into other fast cars(or walls.as the case was with me).you’ll like this one. Its got good music too.
One more thing.it would be good to buy a memory card too because then you won’t have to play the whole thing again. you can start where you stopped. but the card would only promote your addiction(or maybe that was a problem only with the two of us).
PS2 with portable screen would be very convenient since you wont have to search for a TV whenever you have to play. Though the screen wont be too big, trust me, its in no way insufficient.
My bro got his PS2 back some time ago.but poor thing doesn’t get time to play now.nor do I. Hope to be able to make some progress with it in the holidays.
