Five Best Social film.......interesting subject to write, but at the same time very difficult to choose just 5. Anyways, I tried my best to shortlist 5 best social films, not in any particular order.
1- Mother India : one of the great in Indian movie history, with strong social message. great performances by all, esp from Nargis and Sunil Dutt.
2- Baghbaan : Great movie focused on current modern society, giving message how to treat your aged parents.
3- Krantiveer : one of the superb performance by apna Nana patekar. shows how to fight against un-social elements, if you are not getting enough support.
4- Legend of Bhagat Singh : what a movie...i loved it....with some great songs...pagdi sambhal yaara pagdi sambhal..oye....Ajay devgan was brilliant in this movie..though a period film, still has relevance in current period.
5- Swadesh : not so hit at boxoffice, but a very goog movie, after a long time, it was a decent performance by shahrukh.... strong message for NRI’s , go and light the bulb.
