I was looking for this review from sometime and today got time to read some and write mine as such. Surjit Bindrakhiya was indeed a great singer who find his place in fan’s heart. Songs were amazing, Voice was charishmatic. His sad demise was a un-filled loss to punjabi music which it will remains forever. But we should learn from his own songs that ’’main nahi jeena.....’’ that the show known as life should and will go on.
This is my list of four most liked songs of Bindrakhiya :
a) Tera Yaar Bolda :
Absolutely no idea where to put this song as I can listen to this anytime. The Beats are so good, Lyrics are mischiveous, Nothing can be said on voice. Infact the video dont know why some people rate as it is a Bad one... I am not in consent over that. Video is clean and proper care taken to relate it to the song. All in all a wonderfull Punjabi song.
b) Kachi kandha jaeeaan yariyan:
This is like critising love situations. Full of emotions. Take these lines
’’pinda vicho pind suni da...pind suni da roorda’’
’’hanjoo aukhe kar geya sajnaa paake pyar to dhoora’’
’’ve rati rondi da bhij gaya laal bhamboora’’
Just listen to this..!!
c) Jaad Nachdi tu Jalandhar :
A song full of funn....I must say that Bindrakhiya can sing on these kind of songs in a much better way than any one else. Listen to the lines like
’’chad do sadde kol ni kehan Canada wale....ki Gore ki kale tenu labbde firan sare’’
’’Ik than ni tikk ke baindi ...tu kise kol ni rehndi’’

d) Dupatta tera sat rang da:
Well sung, well filmed song. Lyrics are brilliant.
These were which I like most from Bindrakhiya. Many more are there which are equally well but somewhere one has to draw the line.
