There are so many great sites that it is hard to pick just 5. I have thought about this for awhile and these are my picks for the day.
Mouthshut is one of my favorite sites as after I joined I found everyone to be very friendly, very complimentary and it has a nice community feel to it. I also love learning about other countries and have learned quite a bit since coming here.
I love reading the reviews and of course writing them and customer service has been really fast especially in adding new categories. I have found by suggesting one in the evening that by the next morning I have already received notice that it has been posted and for a busy site I find this very fast.
Sometimes it is hard to get on the site and the pages load very slow or not at all but have found that this is fixed fairly fast also. So I just love it here and would encourage new people to start writing right away and reading and see how much fun it is. I am not sure that all are aware that they get points for reading and rating what others have written also and I don’t know of any other site that does that so I really like that also.
My second pick would be etour. I go there everyday and have been for a few years and am shown sites that match my interests and that I have never seen before. I do not think I have ever seen a repeat.
I get 80 points a day for visiting 4 sites and the points add up and can be turned in for gift certificates or phone cards so these are always handy.
It will also give me my local weather and the forecast so I always check that when I am there too.
My next pick would be webshots where you can download desktop wallpapers and screen savers or send an e-card. They have thousands of pictures to choose from and new ones every day. The pictures are so clear and the colors are great and I have seen some of the most breath taking pictures. Again this is something that I have used for years.
My 4th pick would be my favorite search engine which is ask jeeves and I have always been able to find the answers to any questions that I have asked.This is the very first search engine I ever used and I have tried others but always go back to this one.
Last but not least would be another opinion site which is similar to this site and you also write reviews.I had named the site but it would not allow me to do so for some reason. I have been writing there for a very long time and it was the first place I ever wrote for.
