Box office is so unpredictable! Sometimes a good film flopped badly whereas bad one became a hit .Here goes the list of my Five Hindi Films Which Did Not Deserve To Be Hits [most of them being latest as I don’t know more about oldies ].
Bunty Aur Babli
Oh my god! How this film became a hit is still a mystery? I had gone to watch this movie on very first day with lots of expectations but everything came crashing down after watching it .With senseless story, over the top acting and mediocre music, I was almost sure that it will be huge flop as I walked out of theatre .Alas!, the very next day when I logged on Indiafm, I was shocked to see the film opening to 100% collection everywhere and is actually super hit and much better in multiplexes! This shows how bad are the choices of so called multiplexes audience .
Chalte Chalte
With title like CHALLTE CHALTE, you expect the movie to to move at rocket speed .But the movie was so slow, boring and cyclic .In fact it did not move anywhere after the interval with wife [Rani] and husband [SRK] fighting for same thing time and again .But still was a hit!
MAIN HOON NAA
This so called true masala movie was so stupid that it even tests the basic intelligence of a person .The reason for which 40+ SRK join the college was outright stupid .SRK beating a car with his Rickshaw, romancing his teacher was anything but funny .But still a blockbuster!
TERE NAAM This film was really very terrible in its execution and direction .Music was the only plus point which save this dragging film .
ANDAAZ
This was insipid film from word go .Neither performance nor direction and story .But it went really well with our C grade audience and was a hit!
But the film which deserveD to be hit are LAKSHYA, ARMAAN, PINJAR, SWADES, RAINCOAT, SOCHA NAA THA, TANGO CHARLIE, DEV, KHAKEE which were all super flops!
