Let me do a sophisticate dissection of the word Handsome much before I bump onto write on this very topic which is a daunting task before me.
Handsome: Pleasing in appearance especially by reason of conformity to ideals of form and proportion!
Handsome: Big!
Handsome: Big hearted!
Handsome: Bountiful!
Research says * The man opts for the meaning which appeals to him most or to which he think of resembling closely.
The girls whom I could not marry(Not all once at one time, atleast one): * Adi, you are very beautiful. You are very handsome. You are very good at your heart.
Afterwards my buddies consoled me:* Dil ko dekho, chehra na dekho!
After these incidences, I often used to wake up in the night because of seeing myself getting married to a compuchian lady with big heart(I’m talking of heart here!)
I could not make any girl say that I’m drop dead hunk, drop dead handsome. So the perturbed soul of mine started to concentrate on more heartspace. No, I did not get any implant done, I found solace in the handsome heroes with big hearts! A few of them are listed below:
1. Shahrukh Khan: Earlier during his career, he used to rob the girls from the other heroes. In certain circumstances, he played some innocent, stupid tricks to lure the girls like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naan. In certain circumstances he used abusive, dangerous techniques to snatch the girl like Darr, Anjaam. Going forward another man with big heart let SRK steal someone’s else’s girl by using letters of his dead wife and his kid.
But the time has certainly changed, this ladkichor is now helping people to keep their love, preserving their girls. These praise-worthy efforts have earned him first place in my list. He certainly tried to wash his previous movie sins in Mohabbatein by making 6 poor loving souls meet, he went forward and died in Kal ho na ho by sacrificing Preity Zinta. In return, he only received a few gay scenes with Saif Ali Khan!
We always regard someone highest who has improved a lot from his dark yesterlife, comapred with the person who is pure althrough his life. I believe in this and place Shahrukh with the Heroes with Big hearts i.e. Handsome Actors.
2. Amrish Puri: Guys always wanted to be like him! Weird clothes, impressive voice, die-hard personality, those weird eyes and lotta babes moving around always adored Amrish Puri as the villain in the movies. So, after committing so many sins, how amrish puri can be qualified to be described as the Big hearted actor.
Amrish Puri washed away all his sins and emerge at # 2 on my list when he let Kajol go and marry SRK in DDLJ. Otherwise, the love stories would never been so successful.
Afterthoughts: I’m now a silent spectator to the flood of love stories in Bollywood, movies with 12 songs with length exceeding 3 hours, I certainly think whether Amrish jee did any wrong in letting Kajol go!
3. Mithun Chakraborty: I’m surely going to be in the Distrust list here of a few people ot atleast going to be NU ed by my buddies.
Mithun was never regarded to be the handsome actor by any definition mentioned above. But his efforts in his later part of the career have earned his a place in this most coveted list of big hearts without implants.
The uncountable movies in which Mithun acted as a Hero with so many Heroins, with so many canny villains with TLV Prasad as the Director and Producer, he is bound to be the most cherished person for making life of so many people. Let me count these obliged people.
The Heroins:The girls who never thought of being the dancers at the village festival featured on the silver screen as Heroins. A few heroins who thought of their finished carret at Bollywood starred in Mithun’s movies in the lead.
The Villains: Rami Reddy, Razzak Khan, Tej Sapru, Mohan Joshi earned their amount for life by acting in mithun’s movies as Villains.
TLV Prasad: Nobody knew abt it till the time he started producing and directing Mithun’s movies.
Bored audience in the Luxury Bus: The bored audience travelling in the buses were never entertained like this.
TV Channels: Mithun’s movies were advertised heavily before release churning lakhs for these channels.
Zuludancing: I was able to find only 4 hearty heroes, Mithun completed my review.
The person who has provided employment, livelihood, entertainment to so many people is definitely the person worth calling as Handsome i.e. The big-hearted.
4. Preity Zinta: She is not an actor. She is a female. But this lady has done something that the big male names in the bollywood could not dare to do. When all the heroes associated with the bollywood backed off from the film threat and extortion case by fear on their life, this lady bravely stood up and admitted that these things have happened and they have happened with her too.
She is definitely a big-hearted actor by her manly act of courage!
5. Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor: Its only one scene that made them earn the place in the Five Actors with big hearts.
Evenafter its known that the blood can be given only by one person at a time, these three guys defied all the progress made by man in the area of scientific research and donated their blood at one time to Nirupa Roy to save her life.
I salute to these three souls who have made Nirupa Roy survive in this movie. They are certainly one of the the most handsome actors on this list.
