.......Give them their due Bollywood!!.......

The first in my list would definitely be Pankaj kapur ……he is an actor par excellence but is seldom noticed . While his son unfairly hogs the limelight Pankaj Kapur is cruelly brushed aside by the sychophants in bollywood. My favourite performances of his would be ‘Roja ‘and ‘Maqbool’. He is a highly understated and an intense actor  who can convey a lot through silence as well as dialogues. I have great respect for his choice of roles and movies as well.Kudos to you Sir!!

My second choice is Atul Kulkarni…..he is an actor who can express himself extremely well and has a fine body language…..he lends a  certain sincerity and authenticity to any role he portrays…however small  or in significant it is.I have watched him in qute a few serials and he is brilliant in them as well. In the entire ensemble cast of RDB it was Atul who really impressed…he managed to stand out inspite of the presence of so many actors sans any hype…Well that’s saying something, isn’t it?

Anil Kapoor would be my third choice simply because he deserves a lot more accolades than he actually received…yes he is not totally unnoticed and has starred in many hit flicks…but still he has never been labeled a superstar despite the immense variety in roles. This is mainly due to the fact that he has acted with two great actresses like Sreedevi and La dixit in way too many movies and got completely overshadowed by their tremendous screen presence…sad!!Even though he is past his prime he still manages to deliver decent performances nowadays

Sushant Singh is yet another unfortunate yet excellent performer in his own right.Like Atul Kulkarni he is still  to make a serious mark in bollywood despite delivering one knockout performance after another mainly because he has no godfather…his performances seem to be completely honest and shorn of any pretences which is quite a rarity nowadays…he seems to deliver performances right from the heart and has no nakhras

Lastly I would like to make a mention of Sanjay Suri….he has  a strong yet pleasing and unassuming screen presence…. Since I am hard core believer of the axiom “Models can’t act’ , I was pleasantly surprised on watching Suri’s  earnest attempts at acting in ‘Filhaal ‘, ’My brother nikhil’ and ’Jhankaar beats’…I am eagerly awaiting Onir’s next flick ‘Bas yun hi’ where Suri is the hero…Though Suri  hasn’t yet achieved true success….I am just biding my time for it and hope he supercedes his contemporaries like Shahid and Fardeen who clearly have no idea of acting
