I really enjoyed this book because the characters are so real, and being a student myself I can relate to their pressure. There are many hilarious episodes, including where Ryan changes a few key words in a speech to be given by a competitor named Chatur. This makes the speech outrageous and bringing the house down with laughter. Five Point Someone also deals with the serious issue of stress in school, and student’s creativity being stifled.
my message to all the students as you find your future. One, believe in yourself, and don’t let a GPA or a performance review or promotion define you. There is more to life than these things – Your family, your friends, your internal desires and goals. And the grades you get in dealing with each of these areas will define you as a person.”

the book is good I m a reader. iread several writers, many lovestories. chetan bhagat’s writing style has something new in itself he is the writer of new era.his 5 point someone is a good book the language is good and creates intrest but the book becomes boring in between so much of useless things are written which decreases the intrest. but as the story proceed towards the end intrest is at its peak the climax is xcellent and the book goes as per expectations I also read two other books of him those were also good.
’Five Point Someone’, is perhaps Chetan Bhagat’s best till date. It is in a way a landmark book and in spite of not being rich in literary values, has managed to draw the younger generation into reading English novels.
Chetan Bhagat’s success has also inspired a gamut of young writers into churning out low-cost novels. Most of them, however are trash. But one of them which I have read sometime back stands out. It is titled, ’Jab se you have loved me. the story of an Airhostess and an IITian, ’ and I have found it more interesting than even’Five Point Someone’. I would recommend it to all those who have enjoyed reading’Five Point Someone.’
