I’ve seen enough bad acting and bad movies (that’s another review), to not doubt that it could have effected me psychologically in a negative way. that’s why it gives me great pleasure to find this forum to vent my opinions on the bottom 5 actresses in bollywood. it may be too late for me but maybe I can help some bacchas.
here they are in no real order - all bad.
Kareena Kapoor - I don’t she reads or cares about the script, for she dresses and acts the same in all the movies. same skimpy clothes, same haughty expression. one could lop off her scenes from movie A and put it into movie B and from B to C etc and one would not know the difference until one got home. why? because at the theatre you’re in a state of awe at the gall of the acting.
Esha Deols - they say the baldness genes in men skips a generation. looks like it’s true in females for acting and looks. though she’s no doubt hema’s daughter (no need for dna test dharamji), she seems to have not inherited her mother’s best physical features. what’s it with the chin? and the acting...aiiiiaiiii aiiii. only for her mother’s sake did I put myself thru that movie where she sings from a helicoptor (with that other fool that’s starring in my 5 worst actors)...halfway thru I was hoping she would decide to jump from it..emulating her half-brothers stunts...no luck.
Aishwarya Rai - she’s one of my favourite actresses...i really enjoy seeing her dance and close-ups when she’s looking straight at the camera. Movies are for entertainment and she entertains me....but then why is she on this list?
because of guilt. I get home and realize she she put another one over me. chaam cham chamma cham...gone another 3 hrs of my life watching someone because of just her looks...no acting..no delivery..usually no story. it’s like eating ice-cream - you know it’s bad for you...but you enjoy it while eating it...then afterwards you know you’ve done something bad...need to brush your teeth.
Praveen Babi - this movie will date me a little bit...but she was BAD! at least she knew she was bad and did not choose any non-contemporary or challenging roles...though I think it would have been hilarious for her to act as a poor village woman. I hear she’s not too well these days - pls get better...i was just joking.
the Khanna girls - another proof that looks/acting genes skip a generation in girls. less said about these two the better. quit acting...marry asap and have children...they’ll be stars of tomorrow!!!

sharmila tagore as bad - NO! NO! NO! she was very good...though she did have a tendency for flitting her long eye-lashes too often.
asha parekh was always snivelling and you knew something bad was invariably going to happen to her...like marry into a family with lalita pawa (sp?) as her mother-in-law. but she was ok.
