Flavors is a multi cuisine restaurant at Hotel Seasons, an apartment hotel at Aundh, Pune.The other places in this hotel are Galaxy Grill, a Greek restaurant, Time Out, the bar and Cinnammon spice, an indian retaurant.
Recently when we (my wife and I)visited this place we were welcomed at the lobby by the maitre’d , who explained the various menus of each restaurant.We settled for Flavors as it had a multicuisine buffet.They have 3 buffets i.e Monsoon buffet in the afternoons at 399+taxes/head, multicuisine buffet at nights at 599+taxes/head and world cuisine buffet on weekends at 899+taxes/head.A glass of beer or house wine comes with the buffet.
Since we visited at night we settled for the MCB.This was good for the price.While we were having drinks they served us starters from the buffet, 4 types ia all. Chicken, fish, veg etc and the starters were delicious.There was Indian, Italian, Chinese and Thai cuisine in the buffet.Totally 50 items in all.The salads were also good (I skipped the soups)and for the main couse I had biriyani and pasta which was very good.The chinese fish dish was also great.
There were four types of dessert which were too good.We followed this up with a cup of cappucino which was also part of the buffet..During the meal the staff learnt that it was my birthday and they brought a card and a cake for me to cut and sang the happy Birthday song..In spite of me not being in Mumbai on this date, the staff made me feel as if I was among friends on my birthday.All in all a wonderful experience.They also serve a la carte and Time out has an unlimited IMFL and dinner at 999+taxes/head.Must try it next time I am in Pune.
