Alright, I want to write an honest review about these guys. I have a kid who studies in 6th standard. He believes maths is his worst enemy. Me and my wife found it difficult to even get him near the books. Maths becoming an enemy to my child at this grade is a serious area of concern. We put him to a tuition near Whitefield and believe me, the class had more than 10 kids with different level of understanding. Putting my kid there was not very helpful(No hard Feelings Tuition Sir:)
I was very worried so I consulted one of my friends who also happens to be my College class mate. And he suggested me Flipclass. At first I thought it was one of those ecommerce sites which promote classes and certification courses. I dint have much inclination towards this. So I visited Flipclass.com. I found a form which I filled for the requirement of my child.
And within 2 hours this nice lady called me stating she was from Flipclass and took all my details. I got irritated later on as she was asking me so many questions about my boy but I patiently gave her information like his age, his interest, his marks etc. She took my address as well. And then she explained to me that Flipclass would provide teacher at home. I was a little skeptical. What about the teacher, experience, capability. She said that I dint have to worry because she would arrange a demo!(Am I booking a car?:)
And to my surprise there was this tutor who called me in an hour and said I am coming home for giving you a demo. Luckily I was at home and he came down with books and materials. He spoke to my kid. Asked him what were his worries about maths and so on. At first he was little shy but then got comfortable with the tutor.
The tutor from Flipclass gave live examples of Pythagoras Theorem, Fractions etc. He literally made my kid stand at one point, me at another and him standing at another to make it look like a triangle and implemented the theorem:) We were very happy with the demo and signed up with Flipclass. We are at the 7th Session of the tuition class and as a father I am relieved that my boy is liking Math already. Now I need to figure out if he performs well in his tests. I visited Flipclass office last Saturday and met Vineet(CEO) of Flipclass and he introduced me to his team. I was delighted to meet set of people who were so enthusiastic in helping out parents like us. I wish Vineet and his Flipclass team that they continue with this and try to sustain their quality. Will post more reviews about other subjects after they find me a tutor for Science.
