Well, this is my first shopping experience on flipkart and it was very disappointing. Honestly, there is no issue with the price, delivery, product but here goes the incident... The order id is OD20515181041. I received the order today (24th May 2012). My understanding of storing the stamp in an album is that you place it in the album and take it out when you have to. But in the album mailed to me, the only option to store is to completely paste the stamp inside the squares you have provided on blank pages. If you paste the stamps like this, it will completely lose its value. The description of the album on the website could have been a lot better with pictures of the album inside. Lack of information on website has caused this confusion. If I have to paste all my stamps on a sheet, I would have bought a cheap plain note book instead of expensive albums costing Rs.1515 for 5 albums. I called up customer service and a guy by name Anurag rudely said he cannot take return of the albums and refund. "This is not our policy and I cannot help" is what he was repeatedly blurting out instead of thinking of the customer disatisfaction for a moment.
This is not the customer service I expected from flipkart. The least they can do is to have courteous people in customer service or atleast people who can pretend to be so. This is the first time I shopped on flipkart and this would be my last time. Through this review, I would like to inform all my friends and family about my bitter experience and post it on all internet portals possible. I will also inform to the newspapers soon if no action is taken from their end. I would do anything to dent their business if this is the best they can do. They mailed me 4 days back saying they will call me in 24 hrs but they don’t give a damn about the customer after getting the money. In their TV ad, they say "ek photo dekh ke order ki jiye" but they hide a lot of information about the product(like only one zoomed out picture per product which shows nothing). Their 30-day return policy is not at all custormer-friendly. Absolute waste of money.
