I have been buying on flipkart for years, mostly clothes, but also household items and dog food.
The great thing about them is that you can return a product you don’t like without problems. I have never had an issue to get my money back.
Delivery is usually pretty fast, a few days. On occasion I had product which took a few weeks to arrive but that was rare. The delivery person always contacts you first and lets you know when they come. You have the option to re-schedule delivery if you’re not at home at the proposed time. Very professional.
Customer service is also very professional, helpful, and prompt in their replies.
A minor issue I had with some sellers is that they send you the wrong product, sometimes even twice in a row. It seemed to me that they ran out of the product I ordered, so they sent a different one instead, hoping I will keep it. This happened three times(3 different sellers). It’s a hassle.
Sometimes products don’t have enough details in the description, or the description is not totally correct, so that can also be annoying.
In regards to the website, it’s sometimes slow but mostly navigation is easy and fast. I wish they had more detailed filters though. For example, I wanted to check out cotton beanies but I can’t filter by material. I have to look through many pages of beanies made of other materials to find the ones made of cotton, so that is annoying.
But these are minor hassles. Overall I like flipkart and will continue using the site.
