Well, I order 3 books as per one order id. they sent me 2 books and cancelled the third book and refunded the money and notified me via email which I accidentally checked otherwise I was thinking that book is on its way and will reach me sooner or later. But the real problem starts now, as I have clubbed 3 books in one order id to save on shipping cost as Flipkart does free shipping for order worth rupees 200 or more. Now they have sent me 2 books and cancelled third. Now if I order this one book from any other website they will charge me shipping cost as every website or vendor has a threshold for free shipping.
So I raised this issue with the customer service and asked them to either cancel the entire order or fulfill the entire order as I have not authorized them to do a partial delivery of the order. But its 20 days now and they are rotating me between customer care ->technical team -> replacement team and making false promises that someone will call you in an hour and its 20 days I am getting all sort of answers " sir we cant take back what we already sent" My question to them: why u didn’t informed me earlier that one of the books is not available and I would have asked you to cancel the entire order? Someone else is suggesting " sir can you take the imported edition it only costs 457 Rs==" My question to them : when I ordered the domestic edition it cost only 71 Rs why should I take a imported edition? When I ordered the book it was available how suddenly after 1 week of placing order it disappeared from your stock? Is this the way Flipkart forces imported edition down the throat of gullible customers?
Suddenly the nice looking, soft spoken customer care executive are showing their horns==...they know they made a mistake but they are not ready to accept it. when I have placed order for three books who has given them the authority to send me whatever they please to send me?? Its 20 days now and I am still looking for an credible answer and grievance Redressal.
There are so called ’flipkart pimps’ active on this forum and they will try their best to justify the case in favour of flipkart but I want them to try.
