I have been using flipkart for almost 3 years now. During the years my experience has been on the good side of the scale. As many of you might know, but for the unfamiliar- flipkart is a platform for third party seller to sell their products. It is not like inventory based websites. Although flipkart itself sells products under the seller name WS Retail, which you can rely for almost any product and most of the part it is authorised by various brands to sell products, which is a plus it you ever find yourself in a need for claiming warranty.
My orders range from electronics to footwear and for every product my experience was good(I only buy from WS Retail).
Recently flipkart started to badge sellers with "flipkart advantage" which generally gives a feeling of confidence to buyers.
Overall, I would say your experience should be smooth if the seller you buy the product from has good reputation and is badged with "flipkart advantage".
