Feel Cheated

Such a lousy service .It cant get any worse than this!


I ordered a book as a birthday present(OD40531077384) and paid 90 rupees for an assured delivery on 2nd June. I made sure I am at home the entire day and my phone is switched on throughout the day. At 6:30 pm I called Flipkart to know the status of delivery and I was informed that they tried to deliver the package but there was no response. I ensured them that it was not possible and I don’t even have any missed calls on my phone and I am in the coverage area. But your customer service agents have an uncanny talent for blaming the customer even before listening to the customer. He kept me on hold( no music or tone to know that I am on hold) .the line was blank for a very long time and I had no idea whether I was on hold or got disconnected. So I had to hang up and call back again, the next agent again was quick to tell me I missed their call, when asked for the supervisor I was informed that supervisors doesn’t take such calls.when I insisted that I was put on hold (again line went blank for a very long time but this time I waited) . When the agent came back he assured me that it will be definitely delivered to me before 9 p.m. I did not get a call from the delivery people so I called back, this time time a lady picked the call and assured me that since this is a birthday gift it will be delivered before 9 pm for sure. At 8:30, still no call from delivery guys. I called Flipkart again explained the entire situation all over again with an assurance that my phone was indeed switched on, the agent promised me it will be delivered before 9 pm but I still insisted on speaking with a supervisor and wanted his assurance. I spoke to a Manager called Raahil, who told me that he will try his best to get this book delivered but cant promise. After all the assurances I got from the rest of your staff he was going to try his best.?! He did not offer to call back as the companies with good service tend to do, in-spite of knowing that its a birthday present and I have been assured wrongly. I offered to call back and I did within 10 mins only to know he has left for the day(immensely responsible) without passing on any information to anyone.


So my item is not delivered in spite of paying extra to ensure a birthday delivery and what makes me feel miserable is your lousy customer services, rather then investing in so many other things you should invest in training your executives. As a customer I feel cheated and very angry. Lesson learned.. .next time stick to Amazon!
