Not sure how many people try to read reviews about flipkart itself:)
But here we go - Flipkart= high speedpost courier nothing else!
These guys sell products in the name of WSRetail, also allow other sellers as well to sell through them. Obviously I felt its better than snapdeal or amazon or ebay since they claim 10 day replacement guarantee and don’t allow used products re-sale.
Unfortunately these guys use fake claims of’10 day replacement guarantee’ to attract customers. All is well if product you receive works well but if there is damage during transit or problem even within the replacement guarantee period they escape stating manufacturer should be contacted now that product is in your hands.
This is what I got replied
"Return request disapproved for Items in your Flipkart Order - OD40817015889" - "When are returns not possible?
- Defective products which are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty"
As the Laptop that you have purchased, is covered by a "On Site" manufacturer’s Warranty, kindly call Lenovo: 180030005366 to avail their On Site support.
Also BEWARE the INVOICE you receive is fake and manufacturer warranty is not applied unless you follow-up hard to get correct invoice from the. I got correct invoice as a compensation for not allowing replacement of defective product. Only thing they do good is deliver you in less than half the number of days they quote it will be delivered.
Would also like to add that the review I have written in flipkart website about the issue I faced is not published - So we can’t even trust the product ratings, seems they only publish reviews which praise them. I wish GOD gives me motivation & strength to file consumer forum case on flipkart.
