Today happens to be Tuesday. I had planned to go out of town on Wednesday, and was looking for a digital camera. I found Nikon at flipkart with a good price (after searching on the net I found flipkart was offering the lowest price). I called their customer care and was checking if I could personally pickup the item myself, but they said that they did not have that facility.
But the executive added that it normally takes 5 days or so depending on where the product is warehoused, and suggested that I go ahead and place the order and he will try his best to get it delivered at the earliest. So I went ahead and placed an order for the camera. This was at 2 in the noon on Monday. After placing the order online, I called back the customer care and requested them to ship the order as soon as possible. The executive agreed to try his best.
Its Tuesday, and I walk into my office at 11:00 in the morning the package is already there delivered, and the best part was that it was delivered at no extra cost.
It was a real pleasant surprise. I really appreciate their response and the pain they took to ensure that the product was delivered well ahead of time (it was supposed to delivered in 5 days or so).

On the lighter tone, for those of you who are reading this review, do not try this often with flipkart guys, they might just not be able to service genuine urgencies. :)
