Back in 2014 & 2015 I used to shop online using Flipkart, mostly books, the delivery was prompt and COD is preferable as at that time I didnt had debit cards and net banking and all.
The customer service was good as there wasnt any damaged product, the goods were as expected and well in description.
Nut when I came across other online sites like Amazon, I came to know that Flipkart was more costlier than Amazon.
And as an Rational Consumer I had to switch to Amazon, and the last product I ordered at Flipkart was a Microwave oven of Bajaj Company. That was the best electronic device bought online.
Then recently in November 2017 I came to know through my friends that Flipkart phone exchange offer was good and they charged ?100 for picking the phone and delivering the phone at our door. I thought this idea was wonderful then I planned to exchange my Oppo Neo 7(which I bought earlier this year) to get Paasonic. I bought my Oppo for ?9000 and I was shocked to see the exchange price for my phone was ?1050 and the cost of Panasonic was 6999 - 1050+ 100= ?6050. It wasnt What I expected, No one would ever sell their newly bought phone for just ?1050. I had to drop my idea of buying a phone online. This was my bad experience with Flipkart.
And again I tried to give a second chance I need to buy Twilight books a set of 5 in Flipkart which costed ?1500 before buying it I checked it in amazon, but it wasnt a set I found them as separate books which totaled ?1250.
Again disappointed by Flipkart, as the prices are high. In short I could say that Flipkart stands second to Amazon.
