Flipkart

This is to warn fellow consumers from the distress caused by change in business structure of Flipkart. This is more specific to occasional buyers who are used to Flipkart’s initial amazing service but end up getting confused.

Note that Flipkart INITIALLY sold the products themselves making it one of THE BEST online shop. But in not so recent past they have changed the business model to one similar to that of EBay where sellers can register their products and we buy from them. Unfortunately many users are still unaware of this fact.

This change in business model has made the delivery time and service relatively poorer as the trade is not completely in hands of Flipkart. So people who have been used to Flipkart’s service should check the seller’s details before buying stuff now.

The only reason I am rating it less is because even though the news regarding change in structure was published in leading dailies, Flipkart failed to notify their customers regarding this change of structure causing distress to quite a few people.
