Flipkart is the most reliable online shopping service out there. I have shopped with site on multiple occasions for electronics, books, sports products. I have always received genuine products with proper bill and warranty.
The pricing is very competitive and on almost all occasions, I have received prices lower than local stores. the packaging has been excellent and the customer service has been very good and responsive.
Few people have stated their disappointments with the site and I have suggestions from them.
1.If you complain that the customer reps don’t know about the products specs, please be realistic. the site sells innumerable items and its impossible for a human being to know specs of everything available. the specs are mentioned at the product page and the internet is always there to help.
2.If you read carefully the policy on returns, the site clearly says that they will return products only if there is a manufacturing defect. no returns for reason like "i am unsatisfied with the product", "I don’t like the color", "I am not sure if I wanted this" etc. before purchasing, be sure of that you actually need the product and whether the product fits your requirement. research well before buying online.
- Return policy (in defective cases) is excellent with WS retail. other sellers have their own policies and conditions. read them carefully before purchasing. if you want to save a few bucks by ordering from a seller with a one * rating, you might get into trouble. applies to all websites whether E bay/amazon/Flipkart etc.
I m sure that the 3 points above will help your online buying experience better (be it any site). I have followed them and have been very satisfied with my online purchases till now (touch-wood!!)
