Please ensure that Flipkart has the item by calling up their customer care before placing an order for an expensive item. Generally, the home appliances like refrigerators, televisions etc. need to be procured from dealers. So, even after waiting for 10-12 days you do not get your items and they ask you to choose another one. On top of it, they do not mark the item as "Out of Stock".
Also, please compare the prices for products (like electronics) with your local retailers. You may get a better deal outside. Also, if there is some issue with the items, you can complain directly to the owner instead of making so many calls to the customer care. I bought my computer speakers for 3990 INR from local dealer which were marked at 4290 INR on Flipkart.
