And I say this as someone who has ordered a lot of times previously from Flipkart and have faced very few problems.
When they started they were pretty much awesome. The products got delivered to a city like Pune in under 48 hours. The shipping information could be tracked etc.
Off late however it has become a really terrible website that should be avoided like the plague. It takes them more than a week to ship to a city as big as Pune. The only update that they on the shipping is , ’ dispatched from Delhi sort facility’ and that never gets updated.
The last time I placed an order I waited a week before I called up the customer service. They promised to get back with the details and did eventually revert on the 10th day. I was informed that the shipment was lost in transit and I was asked to place a fresh order. You wish.
The best part was that after around 2 weeks a fella from flipkart shows up at the door with the shipment. The product looked like it was lost in their warehouse and by mistake someone found it.
There was a time when I used to recommend online shopping to all my friends and specially recommend flipkart. Nowadays I try to avoid online shopping as a whole and even if I do I check all related websites before I even consider flipkart.
The whole website is simply gone down the drain. Avoid it like the plague.
