I ordered a book from them, and(this was during lockdown), and after the lockdown was over, the order got cancelled. OK, maybe this was unavoidable. But to get the REFUND out of them proved ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! They kept saying "We’ve sent it back to your bank account", but only it wasn’t there - this happened maybe FOUR TIMES! Finally I got it, and I vowed never to buy Flipkart again.
Some time later, after I’d cooled off, I saw the same book(by now lockdown was over) at a low price, and decided - what the heck!, let’s try it again, it’s Walmart, how bad could it be? Largest retailer in the world, right? .So, I ordered the same book again. AGAIN, it said "Out of stock" after couple of days. AFTER I HAD PLACED THE ORDER! - this is the STATE of their computer system! And THIS time, I went near MAD getting the refund from them - they just DON’T WANT TO RETURN MY MONEY! Finally I had to contact my bank(of ALL people!), and read out those giant " Order IDs" over the phone, and thank God(great service from Kotak!), they managed to get the money back.
Learned my lesson, NEVER FLIPKART AGAIN. To point out - Amazon works beautifully!:)
